J.P. Specialist Glazing Design Ltd were awarded the design element of the ground floor & courtyard curtain wall for English Architectural Glazing's Aldwych House project  located in Reading city centre in August 2014. In addition, the design of the ground floor copper column cladding and the aluminium rainscreen cladding to the courtyard also formed part of our works.

Aldwych House, a 100,000 sqft commercial office space, replaces a 1980's office building to provide superior faciities and improved natural light levels via the extensive glazed facades. The various glazed terraces also offer improved light levels to the higher level offices spaces as well as improved thermal efficiency giving a BREEM excellent rating.
Surrounding the building is a variety of listed buildings and the design of the copper cladding and the facade is intended to replicate and incorporate the colours and "feel" of this historic area of Reading with a modern twist on the areas architecture.
With the project planned for completion in November 2015 we look forward to seeing the project complete.
